Your Next Information Technology Career Starts With TAG
Technology Advisory Group (TAG), located in Warwick, RI, was founded in 1996 as a technology consulting and computer networking services company. We predominantly serve businesses in Rhode Island, New England, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Over the years, TAG has grown and has been listed in the Providence Business News as one of Rhode Island’s “Fastest Growing Technology Companies” from 2003 through 2017.
We have carefully partnered with a select group of vendors and continuously research the latest technology solutions to provide hardware, software, and services that make the most sense for the companies we serve. Our typical client is a small to medium-sized business that needs the resources of an IT Department but don’t want the expense or hassle of hiring that entire department. By utilizing the varied and extensive in-field experience of our staff, these companies become more efficient, professional, and profitable.

Senior Network Engineer
We now have a need for an additional full-time, seasoned, Senior Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience with a focus on customer service. A typical day will involve working with clients, both on-site and remotely, resolving issues with their servers, PCs, and peripherals; plus network connectivity issues. The candidate must have a good balance of technical, people, and problem-solving skills.
Mid-Level Computer Engineer
Our TAMs play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve technology success by measuring each client’s alignment to our standards and building/maintaining a relationship with them as a technical resource. TAMs become our internal subject matter expert for each client’s environment and complete on-site and remote checks of their infrastructure in areas such as security, backups, workstations, servers, and email. When issues are discovered, you will be responsible for either remediating the issue or creating escalation tickets for another team.
Outside Sales Professional
Our business development department consists of an inside sales representative (ISR), an outside sales representative (OSR), and marketing. Our marketing and ISR work together to set appointments through a combination of inbound and outbound marketing activities. It is the OSR’s primary responsibility to attend the appointments, qualify or disqualify the lead, and ultimately close the right prospect at the right price. The OSR will also be responsible for continuously updating our CRM/prospect database, generating their own leads/appointments, and maintaining a referral network.
Service Desk Coordinator
This will be a multifaceted role that works with several departments where the two primary responsibilities will be joining our service dispatch team and managing our procurement process. Our dispatch team is responsible for managing service requests and scheduling a member of our engineering team to fix technical issues. This involves communicating with our clients to understand their requests, following our ticketing process, and assigning our internal resources accordingly. The procurement portion will consist of ordering the desired equipment from one of our vendors, tracking/receiving the equipment, and entering the billing information for our accounting department.
